Beetle Certificates - The Good, The Bad and the Infested

Beetle certificates are required by law to be submitted to the attorneys and filed by the banks before a house is registered on the buyer's name.

This protects not only the buyer and the seller against future damage claims, but also the property insurer.

However, there are a lot of ill-informed estate agents and attorneys that have been accepting "non-certifiable" beetle certificates which have later proven false when a claim is made.

Should You Invest in the Stock Market or Property Market?

Luckily for me I've been in both sectors, I've been an estate agent, and in line with that in the mortgage business for over a decade, but I've also been in the stock market training field.

I had to learn about the stock market and follow it daily, I invested in it myself, and taught clients to read the signals and when to buy and when to sell.

I think I can pretty much agree with this article I found that the property market still greatly outperforms the stock market

Calculate Your Debt to Income Ratio

What is a Debt to Income Ratio?
A debt to income ratio shows how much of your income is used up paying off your debt. The ratio is displayed as a percentage and the lower the percentage the better.
A debt to income ratio of 10% means that you spend just 10% of your income paying off your debts and have the remaining 90% to spend as you wish. If you have a debt to income ratio of 80%, then this means that you only have 20% of your income freed up every month.
